Exotic cars and free food are always sure to command lots of attention, and that’s exactly what happened in New York this week as a bright orange Lamborghini Aventador with a hot dog cart set up shop on the streets of the Big Apple.
Now that the New York auto show is open to the public, show organizers have kept busy promoting the show, and their efforts couldn’t be more obvious than parking a super-hot Italian thoroughbred on the street, along with a few staffers handing out free hot dogs.
The European-spec 2012 Aventador LP700-4, Lamborghini’s newest and hottest flagship exotic car, is powered by a 6.5L V-12 engine that makes 691 hp and 509 lb-ft of torque. Mated to a new seven-speed transmission, the Aventador accelerates from 0-60 mph in less than 3 seconds yet has more accessible performance than its predecessors.
