(CNN) -- A blast that injured 10 people Tuesday at a market in Turkey was a gas explosion, the governor said.
Mustafa Toprak, governor of the southeastern province Diyarbakir, said the blast was due to LPG (liquified petroleum gas) compression, according to Turkey's semi-official Anadolu Agency news service.
Toprak said one person is in serious condition, according to the report. Most of the injured were people working at the gas station where the market is located, he said. An investigation is under way.
The explosion, in a three-story market in the town of Baglar, caused parts of the building to collapse, Anadolu reported.
The injured were rushed to nearby hospitals, the news service said.
